Applications Engineer - Partial Discharge Solutions (m/f/d)

For our centre of Excellence Partial Discharge (PD), we are looking for motivated and qualified employees to strengthen our team in Aachen. With more than 30 years of experience in PD measurement, Power Diagnostix by Megger is a market leader offering the broadest range of products for portable, on-line, off-line, and monitoring PD solutions.
Your tasks:
- Together with our international sales and distribution network, you develop solutions based on our PD portfolio
- You prepare and hold product presentations and trainings
- Jointly with colleagues from all continents, you take part in exhibitions, seminars, and conferences
- You provide technical and application support for our PD solutions to our international customers and sales channels
- In a fully guided process, you are also responsible for the solution delivery, while interacting with your customers to ensure the success of the project
- You can actively influence the system requirements and customer demand for portfolio optimisation
- You deliver valuable input to the product management and R&D to ensure the success of future developmentss
Your profile:
- A passion to grow your knowledge about partial discharge and high-voltage technology
- A degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., electrical engineering)
- Experience with partial discharge and/or high voltage technology recommended
- Structured and goal-oriented way of working
- Experience with MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Intermediate English as a minimum (the firm’s business language)
- Further language skills and cross-cultural communication skills welcome
