VDE Symposium
In addition to the conventional three-phase transmission, high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission is becoming more and more important in Germany as part of network expansion of transmission grids. The aim of this VDE symposium is to comprehensively communicate and discuss new findings in the field of high-voltage engineering. The effects on the areas of design, manufacturing process, operating behavior, aging, and diagnosis are considered more closely.
